I’m a mom of three. I’m an artist in written and visual forms. I’m a teacher. I love Jesus! I have a BS in Psychology with a minor in Christian Social Ministries and an MS in English Education. I recently retired from the public education system to pursue God's leading in my life.

I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

Certainly it is good to “know” the Word, but what benefit is that knowledge if it is not Spiritually digested and dispersed? Have you ever wondered how you ended up where you are? Ever asked the Father what in the world He’s doing in it all? In the midst of said questioning could you hear that still small voice whisper, “Trust Me”? Sometimes we are in the midst of the wilderness for that purpose alone, to learn to trust Him.

As a teacher, I hear lots of stories. I’ve often used coloring as a stress reliever in my own life. Here I’ve attempted to create a coloring book for all the survivors I know and the stories they’ve shared. It’s not a “feel good” coloring book but it will definitely hit you in the “feels.” And, maybe, you’ll find you aren’t alone. All artwork was originally ink on handmade paper. Some edits have been made digitally but only for random lines or shadowing caused by scanning the originals.
